St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Mission Wagga Wagga celebrated the Bible Kalolsavam on August 11, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The event was organized for catechism students and was filled with active participation, joy, and a strong sense of community.
The students were divided into three categories: Sub-juniors, Juniors, and Seniors. Two teams, Nazareth and Bethlehem, competed in various Bible-related activities. Both teams showed great enthusiasm and commitment, making the day memorable for all involved.
The Bible Kalolsavam was meticulously organized by dedicated catechism teachers, ensuring that every activity was engaging and meaningful. Their hard work paid off, as the students enjoyed the event thoroughly and learned more about the Bible while having fun.
The highlight of the event was the awarding of the ever-rolling trophy by Parish Priest, Fr. Siby Thanickal, to the winning team. The trophy, named in honor of Msgr. Mathew Mankuzhikary, was a symbol of the team’s dedication and effort.
The day concluded with the regular Sunday Mass, bringing the community together in prayer and thanksgiving for the successful and enriching event.
