Confirmation

Confirmation is a sacred and important sacrament, completing the journey of Christian initiation together with Baptism and Holy Eucharist. Through Confirmation, the baptized receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit, strengthening them to live and witness to their faith with courage and commitment.

The Acts of the Apostles (8:14–17) recounts how the Apostles laid hands upon the newly baptized, and they received the Holy Spirit. This scriptural testimony affirms Confirmation as a distinct sacrament that deepens the grace of Baptism and unites the faithful more closely to Christ and His Church.
